We took the girls to see their great grandma yesterday before she goes home to St Kitts.

On the way home we were talking about all the changes that she would have seen throughout her life.

So many from the changes to women’s rights, black people and especially black women’s rights, to travel being more accessible, to how we now have non stop

television with limitless channels and needless to say the internet.

When you stop and think what Violet Swanston has seen it’s actually mind blowing.
