Oliver’s Christening

We were lucky to be invited to one of the most relaxed, warm and entertaining christenings we’ve ever been to today.

Styal Methodist church is only tiny but was crammed full of love.

The children, including my Lula, got up and sang Hey Jude at the end. Brilliant!

The vicar was so welcoming and funny. I especially loved his plug for Café Unity in Heald Green!!

Congratulations Oliver!

I was racking my brains thinking of what present I could give little Oli.

Then I suddenly thought what could be better than a lasting memory of the day.

So after the ceremony I took The Waltons, only kidding, The Herberts to one side to take a family portrait.
