Cheshire children's photography of a ginger haired little girl in a field at Abney Hall Park.

Children's photography of an award winning photograph of a red haired ginger girl with her hair blowing across her face on a snowy background.

Sian is one of those children who is a total dream to have as a subject during a children’s photoshoot.

A children’s photographer’s dream.

She has the ability to switch emotions at the drop of the hat. Her focus and concentration totally inspires me to keep doing

shoots with her. It’s a good job her mum Lisa keeps letting me whisk her away!

Sian is one of seven children. She loves acting and is a member of Sophie Dee’s Young Performers Academy. I’ve even nick named her Showbiz Sian. I’m a sucker for red hair anyway. When I was little my told me that one day I poured tomato soup all over my hair!

I first photographed her with the rest of her brothers and sisters children’s photoshoot at Abney Hall Park

I have now photographed her both in the studio and on location and she’s just as amazing in the studio.  One of the hardest things for anyone to do is to totally relax in front of the camera. It’s my job to make this happen, usually by making them laugh. Sometimes it can take 10 minutes sometimes a whole hour. To get that connection, especially with children they have to know that they can trust you. Then they automatically relax and then we can make a beautiful portrait.
