The Herbert family, aka the Waltons as I call them, are one of my biggest supporters when it comes to children’s photoshoots.
The first time Lisa booked a children’s photoshoot we went to Abney Hall park. It was a lovely summers day and I photographed all the children. It was my second visit of many to come at Abney Hall.
The second photoshoot I took a full family photograph after Oli’s christening outside Styal Methodist Church in Cheshire.
Then there was a big announcement that another little one was the way.
Little Miss Daisy arrived to complete the family and I photographed her in a modern way compared to the other newborn photography that I’d taken before. As the gorgeous Mister Oli had grown into the role of big brother he obviously couldn’t be left out! So he too appears with all his crummy curly hair.
The last Herbert children’s photoshoot that I took was a surprise for Steven’s Dad’s 70th birthday. All the grandchildren were gathered at Rosedale park in Heald Green. The weather forecast was not good and we only had about 5 minutes before it started to rain but they smashed it!
Every time I’ve photographed Oli he’s been a total delight, such a smiley bear. He’s a very lucky boy to be part of one of the happiest families I’ve worked with. I feel very privileged to have the chance to do so many children’s photoshoots and very grateful to photograph Oli so many times and watch him grow.
Happy birthday little man I hope you have a brilliant day and I know you would have got lots of love!
