Alison decided to treat herself to a boudoir photoshoot at home in Cheshire. Call in Team Glam Kelliejo Photography and Lisa Simms Hair and Makeup. We banished the rainy day with fabulosity and champagne kindly supplied by Alison complete with a posh ice bucket too!
Many women wait and wait and wait to book their boudoir photoshoot. They put off having their portrait taken coming up with so many excuses….
I need to grow my hair, lose weight or wish I was younger……
Stop waiting. Have no regrets, treat yourself. Wouldn’t you love to look back on a set of portraits where you look BEAUTIFUL.
Don’t be afraid.
Trust me.
Alison has no regrets and a gorgeous album bursting with portraits of her looking simply amazing.
Here’s Alison’s take on her experience
I wanted a very special gift for the very special man in my life.
A boudoir photoshoot seemed the perfect thing, but those who know me well understand that scratch beneath the surface and I’m not the confident person
I seem and I lack self-esteem, so the thought of exposing my soul through photography was really quite a scary thing.
I wanted to do the shoot though but was incredibly nervous for the reasons stated and, let’s face it, I’m no spring chicken in either age or physique!
Kelliejo was amazing though, she took time to talk it all through with me first, to plan out the day and reassure me.
She promised me I’d be coached and posed within an inch of my life. That I’d have nothing to worry about, although she promised me a day full of lots of fabulosity, fun and laughter and how right she was.
On the day I was incredibly nervous but as things got underway I began to relax and enjoy the whole experience thanks to Kelliejo’s professionalism, constant reassurance,
encouragement and humour. Together with Lisa’s frequent professional and expert pampering and preening of my hair and make up.
I had an amazing time doing the shoot, from being scared and nervous at the start.
I didn’t want it to end.
I learned a lot about myself that day…
I’m not very bendy but it didn’t really matter that much, I am without doubt a control freak, I find it hard to smile but not impossible, champagne is a must!
I can let my guard down to relax and enjoy myself and yes, for an over the hill # year old, I can still rock it a bit!!
We were close to the deadline for getting the album for his birthday/Christmas but Kelliejo was fab-u-lous, she pulled out all the stops. She worked in record time between other assignments to get my photographs edited and ready to choose from.
When I went to view them I could not believe it was me or how amazing they were. It was so hard to choose which to put in the album. They all revealed something of my inner soul in different ways. We eventually settled on the final choice and the “Young Book” which I liked the look and sound of.
It arrived a few days before Christmas and I have to say I was blown away with the quality of Kelliejo’s photography and the album and I’m delighted that the boy is too.
On reflection I don’t know why I was so worried.
It was an amazing experience and I would encourage any ladies of any age, but especially us slightly more mature ladies, to have a boudoir shoot with Kelliejo. It was an incredibly fun day where I was made to feel fabulous and special. Through her expert attention to detail and encouragement I (well the boy) have an
amazing album of beautiful photographs which reveal something of the inner me as well.

Alison looks amazing – age is just a number, she looks sexy, pretty, fun and classy.
