A Christmas wedding at Upper House in Hayfield

The wedding was set in the beautiful Upper House a former hunting lodge that stands alone on the magnificent mountain of Kinder Scout in the Peak District National Park.

It had been raining all the week before and the weather didn’t look good for the Saturday.

The morning of the wedding it was cold but beautifully sunny and not a spot of rain all day…..result!

Sue had been planning a Christmas theme for months and it looked so pretty inside.

We were there (myself and my glamorous assistant, my husband!) to capture the day from the bridal preparations through to the first dance which was a secretly rehearsed flash mob to Happy by Pharrell Williams and all the singers too!

The whole day was filled with fun, love and a lot of laughter.
