Lifestyle Personal Branding Photography

business branding

What is lifestyle personal branding photography you may ask? It’s a collection of images that tell the story of your business whilst injecting a splash of your personality. Yes you may have to actually smile or even laugh but don’t worry I can bring my jokes with me!

In this digital world your digital business presence is so important. The way your are portrayed says a lot about the branding of your business. As most business transactions have at least an element of digital activity you have to ask yourself how am I coming across to my customer. Will your branding and presence attract your ideal customer?

Lifestyle personal branding is not just a headshot looking direct to camera with your arms folded. It can include images that reflect your activity in and out of the workplace.

I hate having my photo taken I hear you cry. Well my job is to make you feel relaxed and at ease. With a dose of pampering by a professional hair and makeup artist and my guidance with posing before you know it it’ll be over and you’ll have had the best time. You’ll wish that you’d have done it sooner!

How long have you put off having your lifestyle personal branding photoshoot? I see you!
Yes I’ve heard it every time.

I’m not photogenic
Good luck with getting a good shot of me.
Can you make me look slimmer?
I’ll book it when I’ve lost some weight.
I’d feel silly and awkward.

And yet you still have the grainy iPhone shot which doesn’t show you in your best light.
A shoot with me will make you stand out from the crowd, make you look like you’ve just stepped out of a magazine. The images will show your personality and help attract your ideal customer. Let’s face it you know you’d think twice before buying from a company that hasn’t invested in themselves. Let your online presence sparkle and reflect who you are.
You know I’m ready for you. I see you!

Victoria from Bloom will be the first to tell you how she usually hated having her photograph taken. We had a good giggle and I put her completely at ease. She even trusted me to capture her smile!

One of the other problems I see after people receive their images is that they are so pleased with them that they share all of them at once. Your personal branding images should be shared strategically over a period of time on all your platforms at different times. There are plenty of apps to help you schedule your posts including Hootsuite, Planoly and Later. This way you can spend a morning scheduling your posts without the headache of posting everyday. Remember though to interact with any comments in real time as your customer won’t like it if they are put on the back burner.
