I like to keep the focus on your little one. They are centre stage. Even the cake was a plain cake that we added squirty cream and fresh strawberries to make it easier to get messy! As most little ones will become overwhelmed at the site of a cake in front of them. At first they are really hesitant and will look to you for reassurance. You will literally have to smash the cake and show them what to do.

Once the cake is in place, the real magic starts! No forced poses here, just genuine moments of curiosity, delight, and messy mayhem. I’ll be snapping away as your little one explores the textures, tastes, and joy of squishing cake between their fingers (and probably toes).
