When you’ve just had your baby it’s the most magical, daunting and exhausting time. You’re in your own little world, a bubble of newness and wonder.
I LOVE to capture this time particularly at home as it makes everyone feel more relaxed especially Mums. Getting out of the house with a newborn is a task within itself. Take the stress out of it and consider a shoot in the comfort of your own home.
I like to get the whole family involved capturing the reactions and interactions between each other.. Making a big fuss of siblings is at the top of my list to make sure they don’t feel left out.
Some good reasons to have your newborn photography shoot at home.
One of the best reasons for having your newborn photographed at home is that if they need their nappy changing or a pitstop for food everything is familiar and to hand. There is no rush the whole shoot is very relaxed and calm even if your little one isn’t!
I work around your little ones own schedule. It can be all over the place as they find their feet on planet earth! The lack of sleep all round plays havoc with family life and your normal routines especially if this is your first baby. Speaking of tiredness if you’d like a little sprinkle of magic I can bring along my makeup artist too so that you can look all awake and sparkly on the photographs!
This special time flies by. Blink and it’s gone.
