The Tebb Girls by Cheshire children’s photographer Kelliejo Photography.

Karen the girls Mum decided she wanted a studio photoshoot for the portraits at the studio in Cheadle, Cheshire.

The three girls arrived with mum in tow. All three were quite shy at first. Isabelle the youngest clung on to Mum for dear life. So I put the music on to help them relax and started by having a chat with each on of the girls.

They had brought a couple of outfits for looks during the photoshoot. The first outfits were just perfect. I’d had a chat with Karen before the session as I do with everyone who books a photoshoot with me. I’d advised her to choose outfits that compliment each other, that are not matchy. One thing that I strongly advise too is to avoid logos or characters as they can easily date a portrait and become the focus which is distracting. I generally say choose a colour and then add some stripes, and patterns. I think Karen did a superb job!

I started by photographing Kirsty. She relaxed very quickly and has the most gorgeous blue eyes. One of her photographs went on to win me a bronze with the The Guild of Photographers. Have a look here

Rebecca was next to step up to the sense of the Cheshire children’s photographer and just fell into it perfectly, really loving every minute.

Then it was Isabelle’s turn. She was very shy and took a lot more coaxing but she sound warmed up!

I have to say that Kirsty, Rebecca and Isabelle were so well behaved and a total credit to their Mum Karen.

We even managed to fit in a mini photo booth at the end. Isabelle was too tired at this point and was having a snuggle.
